Indonesia hopes to create a positive image of Egypt`s ability to restore its economic stability following a revolution in the country, Indonesian Ambassador to Egypt, Nurfaizi Suwandi, said here on Thursday.
"Indonesia's participation in the 45th Cairo International Fair is part of its effort to create a positive image of Egypt in the eyes of the international community," Nurfaizi said on the sidelines of the ASEAN-Egypt Cooperation Forum in Cairo.
The former Metro Jaya Police chief noted that the post-revolutionary situation in Egypt was similar to the multi-dimensional crisis in Indonesia in 1998.

He added that 11 companies from Indonesia took part in the Cairo International Fair, which is being held from March 18-30.
The Indonesian companies which participated in the Cairo International Fair were PT. Sekawan Cosmetics, Nahdi Jewelry, PT. Bina Karya Prima, CV. Afaq Erfani, Reny Feby Jewelry, PT. FG.
