'To be radical is easy but to be moderate is extremely hard'

Upon receiving the Nahdlatul Ulama Student Family (KMNU) at the Jakarta's NU headquarters, General Chairman of NU KH Said Aqil Siroj said that "to be radical is easy, but to be moderate is so hard."
On the meeting the student organization expected Kiai Said to open its 4th national congress that will be held in Bogor in January 2018.
Kiai Said added, there had been various NU mandates that must be implemented in the midst of various existing problems facing the nation and the NU capability in keeping up with any development.
"There are many NU mandates that must be addressed together. While many slanders have so far been directed against us, never give up. Bear in mind (that), insya Allah serving NU will bring much blessing," Kiai Said added.
Hamzah Alfarisi, the KMNU national presidium said that his organization would focus more on how to take part in giving more contribution the Indonesia's largest Muslim organization in particular and the nation in general.
"As santri we just want to be able to contribute, take a role that is still empty and in the end we could complement each other to do the NU enormous task," he said in a press release sent to NU Online on Monday (1/1).
Related to the 4th national congress of KMNU, Hamzah explained that the much-awaited event would be participated by some 24 KMNU of Universities throughout Indonesia and Malaysia.
